The site was hacked in the early hours of this morning a ton of data was removed by the hacker making it non recoverable including mixes and user accounts. The problem is that the automated backup of the site was being made at the same time as the hacker was doing their best to destroy it which means data was lost and has had to be recovered manually.
This has certainly affected many of you directly so please contact the support address (support (at) fantasydj.com) and let me know how we can help.

The server crashed and there were problems recovering the data so we managed to restore a backup of the site from Monday afternoon.

Although we tried our very best to recover all data, some of it was corrupt so some of you may notice that some mixes are missing (hopefully not many). Hope it hasn’t caused too much trouble.

- Good news, there is no more private mix download feature so anyone can download anybody else mixes. No more restriction from now on.

- The Guru’s choice for the week was not being updated so never changed. This has now been fixed.

Coins are soon to be removed and the only currency available will be FDJ credits.

How will this affect you?

We hope this to be a positive change where the community will be able to use their credits to access just about everything that’s on offer. Some of the things that you can only do with coins at the moment are:

- Upload your own sounds

- Download your mixes

You’ll soon also be able to access these features with credits.

The Credits system won’t change.

You’ll still be able to earn credits as well as purchase them in the same way as it has always worked.

For those that have coins

Once the change has been implemented we’ll be happy to convert whatever coins VM’s have to credits. Just get in touch with us after the change and let us know your user ID and we’ll convert them for you.

There are four main sections here:

    Loops- Sounds for the loop board.
    Effects – Sounds for the effects pad
    Keyboards – Sounds for your keyboard, you’ll hear only one but your actually getting twelve, one for each key.
    Upload Sounds – If you don’t find what you’re looking for on the store then you can upload your own sounds.

Vibe Coins are needed to buy either standard or premium content within the store. An example of content can be items such as samples, sound clips or loops.

They can be obtained only through direct purchase by going to the Store and then clicking on the buy options in the Vibe Kart. Vibe Coins can’t be exchanged for Credits or vice versa.
