About Fantasy DJ

Fantasy DJ Virtual StudioFantasy DJ is music community portal and virtual music studio where beginners and enthusiasts alike can create, compose and share their own compositions with others.

The virtual studio was designed for entry level music makers and features a user friendly interface that was built to allow the user to focus on making music without having to worry too much about the technicalities of professional music production.

We believe and hope that Fantasy DJ will serve as a starting place for people who have always aspired to create music or simply would like to use it as a form of self expression.

It was never designed to compete with high end applications like Ableton, Sound Forge, FL studio, the list goes on. We would like to think of Fantasy DJ as an inspirational tool that opens the door for those who would possibly like to evolve their hobby into a profession.

Who are we?
We are small software development studio who has been making games for various platforms since 2004. While the team has always been passionate about games we are also music lovers, Fantasy DJ is a fusion of both profession and passion combined and is a project that we always wanted to work on.

We know there is always room for improvement and try our best to keep up with the needs of users. If you do have comments, questions we would love to hear from you.

Over the past year, I have enjoyed creating mixes on FDJ. I felt great once I mastered the game and it felt good to finally find a game that had a plethora of different clips that also had a weekly chart too.

The past few months, however, I have witnessed some things happening in the game that haven’t sat well with me and some of it involves other players in the game. There are also some things that I have inquired about being looked into that either haven’t been looked into or can’t be looked into. It is for these reasons that I am leaving the FDJ Community.

It’s been great to hear all the different creations out there and great seeing people get the accolades they deserve for being able to use their imaginations to do all kinds of things with the clips that are provided in the FDJ game. I have enjoyed that too. I hope that you guys can/will continue to make great mixes. I thank you for all your support over the past year or so. I will keep my profile up as well as my mixes, as I transfer them to my Ipod, but I will not be rating or creating any mixes for rating at this point, unless some key things change in the game.

    Thanks again…

Wow! I feel you on that. They are gonna delete the fb portion of the game, so if they can’t find a way to integrate my profile into the website, I’ll probably just quit making music too. You will be missed buddy!

Thanks Mike, appreciate that. This was a hard decision because I was addicted to making tracks on here, hehe. However, I could no longer deny that I was starting to feel those same Chart Topper feelings all over again, and only you would know what I mean, since we met playing that game together. I would like to say here, that Jericho (and Beats at one point) have been very good at listening to everyone’s feedback, including my own, with the exception of a couple of things that technically cannot be fixed or controlled. So to the players, don’t shit on Jericho, he’s a good guy. My decision to leave has more to do with my own recent experiences in playing the game and not entirely to do with the app developers. I just wanna make that clear to everybody.

I would have never hoped for this day to come. I cant say that im happy to see this at all but a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do. I am not here to bid you fair well…as im not really good with thoses. I just wish that you would stay and help us as a community drive this place to something bigger. I sit back wondering myself what is going to be the next step for them here at this site. It does seem that much of the voices that are shouting for more development is falling on deaf ears. I would hope and ask that the people here take into consideration that although they want to make money off this they have to work at it and perfect something that cant be got anywhere else. I know im preaching to the choir but i would only hope that this message gets across.

But the point that you are leaving is sad. I would hope that you would stop by and listen to some of my stuff as you have inspired me to do tracks from the first time i came on here. I remember seeing your name on top and being like thats the one that i have to beat….but as i so came to learn it wasnt a point of beating you it was a point of enjoying the sounds that you put together. I am honored to call you a friend and say thank you if for nothing else then for inspiring me. Thank you.
